Lazyman-Ironman Triathlon
June 7th through July 11th
You have 5 weeks to complete the same distances that are done in the Ironman
Triathlon that is held in Hawaii each year. They do it in one day, you have five
weeks (thus the name Lazyman). This challenge includes swimming, bicycling and
running/walking.
Members and Non-Members may participate. Register at the YMCA or online.
Adults $30 ($35 for shirts XXL & larger)
Youth age 12 & under $20
Swim or Water Walk 2.5 miles
Bicycle 112 miles
Run or Walk 26.2 miles
(Double the miles for the Ironman Challenge!)
If you absolutely cannot do one of the three (swim, bike, run) events - get a
partner and trade them. For example, you don't like to swim, trade the swimming
miles for the biking miles. Just make sure all the miles are covered.
Juniors age 12 & under and Seniors age 62 & older may complete 1/2 the
distances:
Swim or Water Walk 1.25 miles
Bicycle 56 miles
Run or Walk 13.1 miles
