  • Day Pass Cost?
    Youth (through high school) – $6.00
    Adult (out of high school) – $11.00
    Senior Citizen (62+) – $6.00
    Family – $16.00
  • Do you offer a week pass?
    No, the YMCA is a membership organization whose purpose is to serve its members who join on an annual basis. However we do realize that from time to time we have visitors that come into our facility that can’t make a long term commitment, for those people we have a one day pass that permits them to us the Y.
  • Is that hot tub open?
    The Hot Tub or Spa is not operational at this time. The Y has hired an engineering firm who has submitted the paper work to the State of Nebraska and we are waiting on the OK from the State so we can replace of the Spa.
  • What are you youth sports dates?

  • What are your hours?

    YMCA Hours

    Monday-Friday: 5:00 am – 10:00 pm
    Facility closes at 9:00 pm on school nights for all children through Grade 8.
    Saturday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
    Sunday: 1:00 pm - 5 pm

    Summer Hours

    Monday-Thursday: 5:00 am – 9:00 pm
    Friday: 5:00 am – 7:00 pm
    Saturday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
    Sunday: Closed

    Child Watch Hours

    Child Watch is supervised play for children ages 6 weeks and older while parents are participating in activities in the building.

    Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 9:00-11:00 a.m.
    Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 5:30-8 p.m.
    (9:00 pm on volleyball nights)
    A $6 day pass must be purchased for a non-member child. No charge for children that are members.
    If there is inclement weather, please call the service desk at 345-6228 to make sure Child Watch will be open.
  • What are your prices?

  • What class should my swimmer be in?

    Please contact our YMCA Aquatics Director Anna Sis via email at aquaticdir@mccookymca.org if you have a question about placement of you child in a swim lesson class. Visit our Youth Aquatics page to see detailed information about the classes we offer.

  • When is recreational swim time?
    Monday-Friday 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm
    Saturday-Sunday 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

  • When is the next CPR/Lifeguard class?
    Traditionally the Y runs one Lifeguarding class over the schools Christmas break. Multiple classes are offered in late winter and early spring of each year. Date and time will be posted on our Youth or Adult Events page.
