YMCA Girls Summer Speed & Agility Training is a program designed to help girls at the Jr. High and High School levels. If you are wanting to get quicker, faster and stronger for your sport, this opportunity to work with former MCC Volleyball Alumni, and current Augusta University Jag(Georgia), Kiera Barr is that answer! 

This program will be a Five-week program, Mondays-Thursdays and will begin Monday, June 14th and go through Thursday, July 15th. 

This program is available for athletes of ALL LEVELS for Girls 6th-8th grades and 9th-12th grades.

Girls Speed & Agility Training
The program will consist of 45-60 minute sessions taking place on Mondays through Thursdays, June 14th to July 15th. Junior High girls go from 7:00-8:00 am, and High School Girls go from 8:30-9:30 am. Participants will be coached on different bodyweight exercises with the goal to improve strength and agility for girls overall, no matter their sport! A focus on core stability and body awareness to improve coordination and athletic skills will be emphasized. This program is available to any girl 6th-8th grade or 9th-12th grade and ALL LEVELS OF ATHLETES! Girls would be required to wear suitable training clothes, and tennis shoes and would need to bring their own water bottle. The cost of the program is $10 per YMCA member, or $15 per non-YMCA member participant and covers the length of the program.  Register soon - space is limited!

Dates: Monday, June 14th through Thursday, July July 15th. (Mondays-Thursdays)

Time: Junior High, 7-8am - High School 8:30-9:30am.

Location: The McCook YMCA. Facilities used will include the gym, fitness/cardio rooms and occasionally the outdoor track. Girls will initially meet daily in the gym prior to the start of their workout! 

Ages: Girls 6th-8th grade and Girls 9th-12th grade.

Equipment: Girls need to wear suitable training clothes and tennis shoes and need to bring their own water bottle.

Program Participation Fee: $10 for members, $15 for non-members - covers the full Five-weeks.
