Community Strong Annual Campaign

Every day, the YMCA of McCook works to support the people and neighborhoods that need it most by addressing community issues. The Community Strong program provides financial assistance to people of all ages to ensure that no one is turned away from any program or activity at the YMCA. The Annual Campaign supports scholarships for membership and participant program fees in the Aquatics, Youth Development, Fitness, and Sports departments.

When you donate to the YMCA of McCook, you help us provide kids and families in Southwest Nebraska and Northwest Kansas with the programs and services they need to thrive. Donations are currently being accepted through the secure pay portal link below. Interested parties may also request a pledge card at the YMCA of McCook service desk or by calling 308-345-6228.

Individuals Seeking Assistance

Financial aid for YMCA programs and membership is now available for all ages, thanks to the generous support from friends of the YMCA through the Community Strong Annual Campaign. To determine your eligibility, you will need to complete the membership and financial aid application. Your award is based on your total gross annual household income and family size. Applications can be obtained at the YMCA service desk. You will need a copy of the prior years 1040 form. If you did not file taxes, you will need a 4506T letter from the IRS. The IRS can be reached at 1-800-829-1040.
