Swim Lessons

Swim Lessons Overview

Our YMCA swim lessons are designed to build confidence, develop skills, and create a fun, safe experience for every swimmer. Each session runs for 3 weeks, with 2 classes per week (6 total lessons).

To ensure a focused and safe environment:

  • Only participants are allowed on the pool deck during lessons.
  • Children under 12 must be dropped off and picked up by an adult, including check-in at the front desk and with aquatics staff.

Classes require a minimum of 3 participants. If the minimum is not met, participants may be asked to switch class times or move to the next session.

Please note:

  • Missed lessons are not rescheduled unless cancelled by the YMCA.
  • Lessons may be postponed due to weather, including lightning within 10 miles. The pool will reopen 30 minutes after the last strike.
