Join us for our 2026-2027 McCook YMCA swim league, starting October 5th. We are excited to offer a quality swim program with expert coaches that are determined, nurturing, and positive. You can expect your child to grow relationships, have fun, compete, and enhance their swimming abilities.

Participant must be able to swim the length of the pool without assistance using proper strokes to be able to qualify for the team. Our qualified coaches will assist the participants in improving stroke form.

Y-USA rules and regulations state that the participant must be a YMCA member to participate in the YMCA swimming league. Financial assistance and youth only memberships are available to assist in the cost of the membership.

Practices will be held on Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday, 6pm-730pm.

Participation in swimming meets is encouraged but not required. The cost of swim meets is included in the price of this program, apart from regionals and the state competition. To be eligible to participate in the state competition you must attend 3 regular season meets. Regionals is a timed-standard meet, and you must have qualified for the time in a regular season meet. Approximately two swimming meets will be available each month running through March 2026.
