Youth Tumbling

Youth Tumbling

The YMCA of McCook is excited to continue growing and enhancing our tumbling program. Tumbling provides a wonderful opportunity to build body awareness, boost self-confidence, and foster a lifelong love of physical activity in a supportive, positive environment. Our skilled instructors are dedicated to guiding each child through every level of the program. We focus on developing coordination, balance, and athleticism, ensuring children of all skill levels can progress at their own pace and achieve personal growth.

Grace Brown joined our team this summer as our lead Tumbling Instructor and has assisted in our youth development summer camp. Grace attended York University on a cheer scholarship and taught tumbling at a local gym during her time there. She is currently working as an elementary special education teacher at Hitchcock County Schools. We’re excited to have Grace, her two assistant coaches, and their shared passion for helping kids of all ages learn to tumble, grow, and develop their skills.

Classes will be held in the gym at the McCook Christian Church

Competitions:

We are looking into multiple competitions in our surrounding area that each student can choose to participate in. We will be attending the Atwood Tumbling competition as we have in previous years. Your child does not have to attend competition to be a part of our tumbling program. In April we will be holding a McCook YMCA showcase where family and friends will be invited to watch what your child has learned though out the year.

Additional Fee’s:

Entry fees for the competition are a separate fee and are not included in the registration.
