90th Anniversary Celebration – Week of Nov. 1-6
The McCook YMCA celebrates its 90th anniversary this year with a week-long slate of events.
* Tuesday, Nov. 1, 7-8 p.m.: YMCA stories at Buffalo Commons “First Tuesday” at Sehnert’s Bakery with Walt Sehnert and Tom Buresh
* Thursday, Nov. 3, 5 a.m.-10 p.m.: Community Chest’s Big Give McCook, giving station at YMCA so bring your checkbook or give online at www.biggivemccook.org
* Saturday, Nov. 5 and Sunday, Nov. 6: YMCAlympic Team Challenge, variety of events including golf, volleyball, pickle ball.
Gather your friends and family – 6 to 15 people – and register your team at the YMCA service desk.

4-on-4 Adult Coed Volleyball
The 4-on-4 coed volleyball league returns for the month of November with games on Tuesdays followed by a two-night tournament.
Registration deadline is Wednesday, Oct. 26
First games are Tuesday, Nov. 1
Limit of 12 teams, $40 per team.
Registration forms at YMCA front desk or under adult sports.
YMCA/Parker Youth Basketball
Registration is now open for the 2016-2017 youth basketball season through Nov. 18.
Girls and boys leagues, open to first through sixth grade.
Practices will begin in mid-December.
Games will begin at beginning of January at the YMCA.
